Oh, I think the particular issue I'm dealing with would be something you very much understand. Unfortunately, my boyfriend does not.
Now I am very much intrigued, because if it's either of the issues I'm thinking of I would love to talk about it.

Passive-aggressive = bad, but you have to stand up for what you need. Only you get to define that.
Plus...are you sure this person WANTS to understand, or are they just comfortable putting you in the place they think you fit best?
